The terms for using Snapkey.
These are the terms between you and Brave People, LLC for the Snapkey Mac app. By downloading or using Snapkey you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
Your license
Brave People, LLC gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Snapkey on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial work.
What you can't do
You may not sell, rent or redistribute Snapkey, or offer it for download anywhere else. You may not modify it, reverse engineer it, or remove its notices, except where the law says you can regardless of these terms. You may not use the Snapkey or Brave People names or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you or your product.
Price
Snapkey is currently free. Future versions may be paid, may need a license key, or may offer some features only to paying customers.
If you have a free version installed, you can keep using that version. We may stop updating or supporting it.
Updates and privacy
Snapkey checks for new versions and shares anonymous usage counts, both of which you can turn off. The details are on the Snapkey privacy page.
Ownership
Snapkey is licensed, not sold. Brave People, LLC owns the app, its name and its logo, and keeps all rights not granted to you here.
No warranty
Snapkey is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be free of errors or keep working with every version of macOS.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Brave People, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Snapkey. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid for Snapkey or US$50.
Ending the license
Your license ends automatically if you break these terms. If that happens, stop using Snapkey and delete your copies. You can end it yourself at any time by deleting Snapkey.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the date they are posted, and to any version you install after that.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
